Their Super Bowl win in Feb of 2020 came right before the world went into lockdown due to Covid, then for their back to back Super Bowl wins Biden was in office for both of their visits. Edit: it's also Kansas *City* and they're located in •Missouri•. At least until 2031 when the team hops the state line for a new stadium. |

All of us went back to our friend's house, put the news on and sat in shock for the rest of the day. What was supposed to be a happy day and a celebration of the city ended in fear & tragedy. A woman lost her life needlessly and I'll remember her and the feeling I had that day forever. |

And I'd also imagine that sending only the players who don't command those types of salaries and not the big stars is a really, really bad PR move for all parties involved. |
